What Is the Universal Orlando 2026 Military Freedom Pass?
The Military Freedom Pass is a special promotional ticket available only to eligible U.S. military members and their families. It offers unlimited park admission through December 18, 2026, with select blockout dates, and comes in two versions:
- 2 Park Military Freedom Pass
Valid for Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure - 3 Park Military Freedom Pass
Valid for Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay
Prices start at $220 for a 2 Park Adult ticket, making this one of the most affordable ways to visit Universal Orlando throughout most of 2026.
2026 Military Freedom Pass Blockout Dates
Plan your trip around these dates to maximize value. These blockouts apply to both 2 Park and 3 Park passes unless noted.
2 Park 2026 Military Freedom Pass Blockout Dates
- December 25, 2025 through January 4, 2026
- March 30, 2026 through April 6, 2026
3 Park 2026 Military Freedom Pass Blockout Dates
- December 25, 2025 through January 4, 2026
- March 30, 2026 through April 6, 2026
- October 26, 2026 through December 18, 2026 (Volcano Bay only)
If you are visiting in late fall or early winter 2026 and you want to include Volcano Bay, keep that extended blockout in mind.
Who Is Eligible?
Eligible service members include:
- Active or retired U.S. Military
- National Guard
- Reservists
- U.S. Coast Guard
- Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service
- Commissioned Corps of NOAA
- Spouses of eligible service members
- Department of Defense civilians (with qualifying ID)
Universal allows each service member to purchase and activate up to six total promotional tickets, although at least one of those six must be used by the eligible service member. Exceptions may apply.
Where To Purchase and How To Activate
This offer is not sold online or at the parks. You must buy your Freedom Pass at an Authorized Military Ticket and Travel Office.
Once you arrive at Universal Orlando, you will activate your tickets by showing your valid military or DOD ID at any front gate ticket window.
Epic Universe Military Add On Option
Universal has also introduced a brand new perk for 2026. Military Freedom Pass holders can now purchase discounted 1 Day tickets to Epic Universe, the brand new theme park opening in 2025.
This add on gives military families a more affordable way to experience Universal’s newest mega park and explore the five themed worlds inside Epic Universe.
